Update 1/9/2012: The Electronic Muscle Tester New Model Production has been halted due to recently imposed import restrictions on a critical element used in the manufacture of our unique Force Sensing Transducer. Regrettably this means the EMT will not be available until we can redesign the Force Sensing Transducer or come up with a satisfactory replacement for the element. We are working on a redesign of the Force Sensing Transducer so it will work with a non restricted element, however we will not sacrifice quality for the sake of expediency so this may take some time. We apologize for the inconvenience, we hope to resolve this problem within the next two months (by April 2012).-

The Electronic Muscle Tester (EMT) New Model, developed jointly by Dr. Buryl Payne and TMR Labs, takes the subjectivity and guesswork out of the muscle testing procedure outlined in Dr. Payne's book ("Magnetic Healing"). The sensitivity control range-finding feature of the instrument is extremely wide and selective, making it useful for testing very strong subjects such as body-builders, or, at the other end of the scale, patients recovering from weakening or debilitating illnesses. The function of a true Electronic Muscle Tester designed for Applied Kinesiology Diagnostics like this one differs significantly from a dynamometer. Most dynamometers read out in increments of Foot-pounds or Newtons and are not range scalable with a sensitivity control enabling them to detect small changes that occur in a narrower window around the limits of the user's strength.
Dynamometers lack the sensitivity control and do not incorporate Signal Gain circuitry that can "Zoom - in" at exactly the client's strength level to detect very slight but significant changes RELATIVE to that user's previously tested strength limits. Our unit is specifically designed for ease of adjustment to each individual user's strength and to detect the slightest of variations. We incorporate an analog meter instead of a digital readout because an analog meter, in this sort of application, is much easier for a user to track and interpret than a digital-numeric readout.
