Matter Desynchronization, page 3 of 4 The magnitude of the motional electric field is: E = 3.50 x l0^10 V/mThe actual magnitude is less than this because during high power resonance M is no longer parallel with H. As the amplitude of the microwave signal increases, M moves toward rW (the xy plane). Theta becomes smaller and sin theta reduces the magnitude of E. As the magnetization vector moves away from H it sweeps out a wider conical path. This increases the gradient of the magnetization with respect to the vertical. A magnetic force exists, parallel to H, when there is a gradient of the magnetization. This is a lifting force opposing gravity. [14] 3) Equations of Desynchronization The desynchronized frame, for the moment, shall be restricted to the the substance of the medium. In the section to follow, this frame of reference will be generalized to include both the substance and any nonvacuous spaces within it. In the following, the subscript m identifies the quantities within the
medium and the subscript o denotes the quantities of the local frame. The
change in a quantity is (d); it does not mean derivative. Speed of Light Electromagnetic Frequencies Cm=Co / n Fm = Fo / n
Time Intervals d Tm = d To (n) d To = d Tm /n
Phase angle between reference frames phi = Arc Tan (n) As mentioned in Section 2A, "Since the volume change is at the level of the crystal lattice, no macrophysical change in volume is expected." Because of this, there are no changes in volume, density, mass or physical lengths. This must be so as the change is in rate of time passage, not in any other quantity. 4) Consequences of Desynchronization A small, hollow iron sample is proposed; an upright cylinder, short in height relative to its diameter. Magnetic resonance affects primarily the iron shell. But the homopolar generator established by magnetic resonance produces a rotating electric field that extend from the center of the cylinder outward, whether matter is present or not. [15] A body placed in the hollow of the cylinder
or in a space within the shell will be polarized by the electric
